Dogs are very willing and cooperative patients, who respond positively to homeopathy - homeopathic treatment. Dosing with homeopathic medicine can be done in several ways but the accompanying short video demonstrates one method. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmINHAnXqRY
Dogs will generally accept homeopathic medicines very readily, if offered as a treat, e.g. in a saucer. Many will even catch pillules that are tossed for them. Failing that, the medicines can be tossed directly into the wet part of the mouth, from the bottle cap. If a little food is necessary, then the medicines can be put in a small portion of bland food but this is not ideal. They should not be added direct to the normal meal. The process involved in selecting a homeopathic medicine for the dog involves an exhaustive enquiry into the lifestyle and environment of the canine patient (the holistic approach) and sometimes lengthy discussion on the personality, history and general health of the patient, quite apart from the specific complaint that is to be treated.
