Animals can be given homeopathic medicines individually by mouth, by injection or via the vaginal mucus membrane. En masse, animals can be dosed via their drinking water supply (although special considerations apply, to ensure the viability of the medicine under different systems and conditions) or they can be sprayed over the face, while running through a 'race'. These methods are incredibly cost-effective, whether in labour, in time or in medicine costs. They are also stress-free for the animals. In-feed medication presents many challenges, not all of which can be overcome. A massive unseen benefit of using homeopathy on the farm is that it cannot generate antibiotic resistance in bacteria. Resistant bacterial populations (e.g. MRSA) are rightly becoming of great concern to the National health Service and to the public at large. Mr Day has more than 38 years of experience in farm homeopathy. He has also conducted clinical research, much of which was farm-based.
