Reptile Topics & Issues
Return to Reptiles main
page
Reptiles are more related to birds than to mammals. It is a large and
extremely varied category of animals, who deserve as much respect as any other creature. The term covers tortoises,
turtles and terrapins (i.e. chelonians), snakes, lizards,
monitors, iguanas and crocodiles (crocodilians). Each has special requirements and many are arguably not suitable as pets. Issues that need to be understood are opened in this section of the web site, in order to encourage thought and discussion
(click on the required link).
