We have a main page on chiropractic manipulation and neck treatment.

Neck problems can be the source of acute and very severe pain for horses, ponies, cats and dogs. We even sometimes see frank lameness in one or both front legs, as a result neck problems that affect the nerves coming from the neck to the fore limbs (brachial plexus). Chiropractic manipulation, LASER treatment, gentle traction and homeopathy can often restore comfort and proper function.

In horses, progressive loss of mobility of the neck can follow injury and failure to attend to this can eventually lead to inability of the horse to rise from the ground, thus forcing euthanasia.

A special case for treatment is wobbler syndrome, seen in horses and dogs. For this, we use chiropractic-type manipulation, acupuncture and homeopathy, in an integrated programme.

The AVMC is a centre of excellence for homeopathy, acupuncture, herbs (herbal medicine), chiropractic manipulation, natural feeding and other alternative therapies.
